The Civilian Medical Assistance required at the Military hospitals apart from dholl bearers that will be provided by the Transport Officer are the following:-

Indian Cooks..
The following local Practitioners who have agreed to serve will be told by the Principal Civil Medical Officer on outbreak of war to report to the Principal Medical Officer:-
Dr. Forsyth,
Dr. Forster,
Dr. Lucban,
Dr. Azavedo,
Dr. Swan,
Dr. Jehangir.
The Principal Medical Officer will himself engage Chinese Attendants (in place of the Chinese dressers provided for in the Defence Scheme which cannot be obtained), Ward Coolies and Cooks at the rates as regards Chinese above mentioned.

As regards stores the Deputy Inspector-General of Hospitals has sufficient for the Naval hospital and hospital Ships and with some additions, to be made by local purchase,
